The votes have been cast and counted; thank you Flowery Branch for making me your Representative to City Council.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. This web site was created to make it easier for you to let me know your views on the issues facing Flowery Branch. You will also be able to learn of my efforts and various leadership positions I have for our beautiful community and the great state of Georgia on your behalf.

These are my commitments to you:

Concern- You will see a city councilman that wants to know what you think. I will be active in community forums and available to the citizens. I will be available to listen to you. If you doubt me, go ahead and send me an e-mail; you will probably get a reply within 48 hours.

Communication- As a citizen of the city I struggled with staying informed with the activities of the city government. My pledge to you is to provide an avenue of communication through this website and my blog. I will continue to post my thoughts and hold our city officials accountable for their decisions.

Inclusive Action- As a city councilman I will concern myself with all areas of the city, not just the area I live in. The current city plan largely ignores the population on the east side of town even though the plan acknowledges that the east side is where the majority of the growth is found.

The Future- While the city seems concerned with the redevelopment of the downtown and the new growth at Spout Springs and I-985, they have not addressed potential issues with traffic to the east side. The ability to get citizens to our businesses and services to our citizens is probably the most pressing need we are faced with. As councilman I will look to partner with Hall County and the State of Georgia to find solutions to these problems plus any unforeseen issue that will come up in my term.
